Paul Oliver

Principal Software Architect
Lincoln, NE
Paul Oliver is the Principal Software Architect at Vosaic--a Nelnet and Hudl "startup" in Lincoln. Paul graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2000 (Computer Engineering) and received his MBA from Creighton in 2014. The majority of his career was at Farm Credit Services of America in Omaha, where he filled the Lead Developer role. He has also worked at three startups (all three have failed, unfortunately) in architect and leadership roles.

Paul's most comfortable with C#/.NET, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript/NodeJS. He's a big fan of cloud architectures--he's worked extensively with Heroku, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. He's an active speaker locally, giving presentations on JavaScript frameworks, cloud computing, Git and Bitcoin. He likes to teach you how to beatbox during his talks.

Paul lives in Omaha with his family and is active in his church and coaching youth football.
